The Mid Atlantic Championship is the main championship in Mid Atlantic Wrestling. Held mostly by young blue chips who will one day head to larger promotions, the belt has been held by young prospects such as Greg Gauge, Cameron Vessey, Hollywood Bret Starr, and Roderick Remus. The first champion was Mean Jean Cattley, who won the belt in December 2005. The current champion is Greg Gauge, who won the belt in October 2015 from Roderick Remus. He has held the belt for three months and is in his first reign with the belt.
