Danny Fonzarelli is probably better known by his former name, Jay Darkness. Under that name, alongside tag partner Raul, he was part of The Darkness Warriors, one of the most successful tag teams of the modern era in America, having won titles in the SWF, TCW and DAVE. His final run under that name saw him and Raul playing acolytes to BLZ Bubb, TCW's monster heel. When Bubb turned face, the Dark Brotherhood faction broke up. TCW management saw the potential for Jay to become a singles star and so, after releasing Raul from the company, repackaged Jay into Danny Fonzarelli, TCW's very own "Dr. Love". Virtually unrecognizable from his old demonic character, Fonzarelli has quickly become a hit with TCW fans.
